Training & Assessment (4 units from TAA40104)
This training program incorporates units within the TAE10 Training and Education Training Package which replaces the TAA04 Training and Assessment Training package. This is not a full qualification - only four (4) units.
On successful completion of this training program, learners will have acquired the skills and knowledge to enable them to undertake the role of and perform the duties of a workplace trainer and assessor.
On successful completion of this training program participants will achieve a Statement of Attainment for four (4) units which forms part of the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

TAEDEL401A Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning
This unit typically applies to a person working as a workplace trainer/assessor. It incorporates the skills and knowledge required to plan, organise and deliver training for individuals within a group. It includes delivering training and facilitating learning to a group, interpreting learning environments and delivery requirements, preparing sessions plans, contextualising resources for delivery and delivering and facilitating training sessions.
TAEASS401B Plan assessment activities and processes
This unit incorporates the skills and knowledge required to plan and organise the assessment process, including recognition of prior learning (RPL), in a competency–based assessment system. It also includes the development of simple assessment instruments.
TAEASS402A Assess competence
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to assess the competence of a candidate by planning for assessment, gathering quality evidence, support the candidate, make the assessment decision, record and report the assessment decision and review the assessment process.
TAEASS403B Participant in assessment validation
This unit typically applies to assessors participating in assessment validation. It does not address leading the validation process. It includes preparation for validation session, contributing to the validation process and contributing to the validation outcomes.
