Supervise Work in a Confined Space

On successful completion of this training program, participants will have acquired the skills and knowledge to enable them to supervise personnel entering and working in a confined space. Work in/entry to confined spaces shall conform to relevant legislation and AS2865/2001, or its authorised update or replacement.

  • Prepare for work in the confined space
  • Provide information about working in confined spaces
  • Ensure that the safety and health of personnel entering and working in a confined space is not affected
  • Supervise entry and work in a confined space
  • Implement confined space emergency and rescue systems
  • Withdraw from confined space and facilitate return to service
  • First Aid and CPR Training

This nationally recognised training program provides participants with the unit of competency required to achieve a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of MNM40105 Certificate IV in Metalliferous Mining Operations Open Cut.
