Refresher Program for Generic Induction to Coal Mining Core (Surface)
The purpose of this generic induction training program is to refresh the coal mine workers’ knowledge of, and demonstrate current competence in, the Acts and Regulations, accepted practices, and safety procedures that are employed in surface coal mining sites in Queensland.

This nationally recognised training program provides participants with the units of competency required to achieve a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of MNC20107 Certificate II in Surface Coal Operations. Participants will also receive a Certificate of Completion and a Generic Induction Passport.

The Mining Industry Skills Centre issues a Generic Induction Passport which will be valid for 2 years.
