Lead Incident Investigation
The course objective is to provide participants with the requisite knowledge and basic skill level to undertake a thorough and competent workplace incident investigation for and on behalf of their employer in compliance with company policy and procedure and Mining Act & Regulations.

Day 1:
- Workplace statistics and cost to business and community
- The legal system as it applies to workplaces
- Court protocol and expert witnesses application to company investigator
- Tasks and responsibilities of a company investigator
- Incident investigation steps
- Incident investigation planning
- Information collection from workplace environment/plant/human factors
Day 2:
- Physical evidence interpretation for vehicle related incidents
- Witness statements protocol
- Incident recording presentation (photographs)
- Incident recording presentation (sketch/scale plans)
- Incident analysis presentation (reconstruction/time distance analysis)
- Course assessment
Upon successful completion the participant will be issued with a Certificate of Completion.
